When it comes to long distance moving nothing compares to the move that we did 2 years ago. We not only moved from continent to another. We also moved from one hemisphere to the other. To make things clear, we moved from the Philippines to Australia. The Philippines is in Asia, and generally in the Northern hemisphere. Australia on the other hand is a continent itself, and located below the equator. There were a lot of things that we had to adjust to. First thing was the language. We had to avoid getting tongue-tied with speaking a lot of English. The next thing that we had to adjust to was the weather. In the Philippines, we were used to celebrating a cold Christmas. Here in Australia, we celebrated both the Christmas and the New Year in over-35 degrees temperature.
