Hydration key to beauty

Author: JOY  |  Category: Beauty tip

Keeping your body hydrated form the inside and preventing your skin from drying out on the outside is the best way to maintain vibrant beauty.

A lot of people out there are unnecessarily dehydrated. If you’re actually physically thirsty, you’re already too dehydrated. A lot of people then try to compensate by guzzling massive amounts of water at one go but really the best way to go about it is to sip water throughout the entire day. That is a far better way of maintaning hydration levels.

You can tell when a person is hydrated and healthy – their hair will be shiny, their skin will look great and their eyes will sparkle. You can’t fake that.

Coffee and tea may make you feel good in the short term but both have a dehydrating effect on the skin.

When it comes to topical applications a good sunscreen is most important. You need to use a sunscreen every day to stop the skin dehydrating due to sun exposure. Good quality skin creams can also help depending on your skin type.

Some collagen crams actually artificially mimic of the natural collagen that we produce, which starts to decrease quite rapidly from about the age of 26.

Jojoba oil is know to mimic collagen. It’s a waxy oil and it’s a very good way of giving the skin the appearance of being more hydrated or plumber.

Diet can also be major influence. The need to eat plenty of fresh, prefereably organic fruit and vegetables and avoid processed foods containing high levels of sugar and salt.

I totally agree about the water and hydration. All the difference in the world. Definite difference in my ability to think.

Looked at a product from revivehealth.net. Has anyone tried their stuff? Does that nano stuff make any sense?

I agree, I drink about 2L of water a day and found it difficult to start with, but just got into a routine.

I did an article on fragrancenet on their discounts – havent checked their site for specific products yet, however I’m sure you may find a good range of hydrating products there.
