I always wondered what will it take to turn my kids into geniuses. Well, I soon realized that they have to be geniuses, but being brainy kids is more than enough. This is the reason that I get my kids to work on brain teasers and other forms of puzzles. I want them to exercise their brains, and become sharp when it comes to their studies. This has worked well for my kids.

A Brighter Home

My husband and I decided to buy indoor light fixtures for our lounge room. We realized that we needed to brighten up the lounge room because it was just too deem. The incandescent wasn’t bright enough. We already tried a few things, but having the extra lamps was not only a great addition, but a bright one too. Now, we don’t have to worry about straining our eyes while watching television or reading a book.

Shopping from Home

When I started using an Electronic payment system, I began to understand the concept of home shopping more. Actually, now I can buy pretty much anything that I would like without even leaving the comfort of my own home. Of course, a lot of people are doing this too. We are just reaping the benefits of shopping from home. It is worry free and hassle free. I don’t just shop for myself. It is quite easy to shop for the kids too.

Another Gift Idea

One of our friends’ kids is having their first communion a couple of weeks time, and I am on the hunt for a gift again. Of course I have been waiting for some 1st communion gift ideas to come to me. I have always been good at thinking of a appropriate gifts, but this time my mind seems to wander a lot. How hard is it to think of a gift for a kid?

Headaches

A lot of people have very low tolerance for pain. I am one of those people. I don’t want to be stuck at home with a migraine that just doesn’t go away. I’ve been contemplating to have Migraine surgery to cure nagging headaches. A lot of people say that it is worth it and it really works. Having surgery of course is a big deal, and it is not a easy decision to make. I might one day find the answer.

In Touch

I am very amazed with how we are so connected with virtually everyone we know. Distance and even time differences are no longer barriers for communication. We keep in touch with our love ones and friends through the Internet. And we do this in different ways. Some of us use web based video conferencing to be more visual. Others use text messaging and email to keep them up to date with day to day events. Other people use Twitter and Blogs to share themselves.

The Cure For All

All the lab furnaces around the World are busy producing cures for all the illnesses. I know that one day they will come up with the cure for all; but for now, they are doing a great service to everyone. Who would have thought 50 years ago that illnesses like tuberculosis would have a cure now? Who would have thought that infections can easily be fought by antibiotics. All of these cures that they come up with have already shaped a good future for all of us.

Gold Rush

No matter what other people say, I still want to collect gold. I like gold jewelry, I also fancy gold coins because you can collect them. If I can get away with having gold in my clothes and foot wear, I would love it too. Of course that would just be ridiculous. So I will just stick with the little things like my earrings, bracelets, and necklace.

Shopping Wonder

I often wonder how a big shopping center operates. In particular, I wonder how it could keep up with all the customers who come and go do their business. Aside from the barcode scanners that we see behind the counters, there are also the people who operate them. Of course, even with some of these self service check out counters, people are still needed. For me, it won’t be a shopping wonder if no one was around to converse with.

Sounds Great

A lot people always complain about how their regular head phones don’t sound as great as the more expensive head phones. The truth is their very expensive headphones that don’t really match great expectations. There are only few brands like akg headphones that sound great and aren’t too bad for the pocket either. If you are someone like me, I would want something that is worth the money. I also love music.
