My laptop is failing me badly.    I am really struggling with my daily tasks of updating my blogs.   It’s also preventing me from getting my daily fix of Filipino TV.    I’ve been asking my husband to get me a new laptop, and it can be any brand.     But of course I would prefer an Acer Aspire because I’ve heard good things about it.    Besides, I’ve had enough of my the old brands.

People went crazy the day when apple ipad been launched in the market. I would love to have one but not as crazy the other people I know. Yeah the said ipad is really cool and of course not cheap. I wasn’t able to own iphone, what more this ipad. Only time will tell or if chances will allow. Too many things need to be consider first. I just wonder if there are such things as appetite suppressants for the humanity’s appetite for knowledge.   Since the time when humans first quested for knowledge, we have not actually quenched our thirst for discovery.    We seem to be always hungry for knowledge.  We keep coming up with new inventions, theories, and discoveries.  But when you think about it, we are yet to skim the surface of total knowledge.  This is probably the reason why we can’t satisfy our hunger and desire to search.

There are only a few things that people would consider as revolutionary in terms of impact.   Take the Internet for example.   It was considered to be revolutionary at the start of it’s life. No one thought of the possibilities that it could reach decades later.   In the field of medicine, diet pills or diet wonder drugs come and go.   But there is nothing like nuphedragen when in comes to impact and value.   In the field of communications, the mobile phone was a revolution in itself; but this has now been topped by it’s reinvention in the iPhone.   It seems like another revolution is coming the form the iPad.   Many predict that it will revolutionize the way people see computers.

When my friend got an epson receipt printer for her flower shop, she found that everything was all of a sudden quite easy around her business. When this printer broke down once, she ended up in a mess having to do her receipts manually. Of course it was business as usual for her, but she admits that going back to the time without technology is quite hard. It is especially harder if you’ve gotten use to the use of technology for a long time.

It’s just yesterday I know analog television will not be working anymore here in Oz. Maybe in other part of the world also but I didn’t paid attention. Our friend ask favor to us to help her program her Samsung HDTV to digital. I thought the problem was serious. Toinks! It was easy as 1,2,3. How come she didn’t see the digital option on her remote? Oh well whatever but her HDTV  is really cool. I want the same, wink!

I was so worried last night because my notebook suddenly turned-off by itself every after I think 10-20 minutes. It’s upsetting because I’m in the middle of enjoying watching my favorite show American’s Next Top Model. It was not in sleep mode. Battery was well-plugged. So I asked the help of my IT husband to check what’s going on. He changed the settings but still no to avail. We tried to turn-off the modem and use my laptop without connection to the internet and guess what? The problem stopped! If time come that my unit is not stable anymore, I’ll prefer to get desktop computer because  desktop computers are easy to upgrade just our kids computer. Well, it’s hard to transfer from one place to another if you use desktop. That’s my only concern because I don’t stay in place. I keep changing if I get bored.

Just when you thought gamers that your gaming experience couldn’t get much better, along comes a heap of new online features from Microsoft and Sony.
Microsoft’s next XBox 360 update will give gamers the ability to buy and download disc titles via the internet, customize their avatars and introduce a raft of friend and console status message.
The Games-On-Demand service will add Xbox 360 disc titles to the library of full original XBox games available for online purchase.
Gamers avatars can be tricked out with clothing, props and “awardables”", items that can be won by completing tasks within games.
Players will also be able to rate games out of five stars and search for the most popular items.
The Achievement browser will be tweaked to make it easier to see what you’ve accomplished while playing a game.

What is the definition of security in the Information Technology world now a days? Security was probably simplier concept 20 years ago.
